International Conference on Daoism in Mt. Tiantai and Zhejiang, May 2005

Since ancient times, Zhejiang has established its important status in the history of Daoism. Daoist scholars from Zhejiang contributed tremendously to the construction of Daoist philosophy and development of Daoist organization. Among them were Wei Boyang κ²®Ñô, Ge Hong¸ðºé, Lu Xiujing½ÐÞ¾², Tao HongjingÌպ뾰, Sima Chengzheng ˾Âí³Ðìõand Zhang Boduan ÕŲ®¶Ë, writers of many important books in Daoist history.
