Abstract

In the Asiatic area - above all in the Far East (China, Korea and Japan) - it refers to Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism as to the unity of the Three religious teachings that prevailed, for more than two millenniums and a half, each sector of cultural life: - cosmology, history, ethics, religion, politics, economy, philosophy, science, life stile, literature, etc. Excluding Buddhism, that come from India, the other two religions started just in China and are the genuine expression of the Chinese traditional culture. In the Far East they had and have a remarkable influence over each expression of the spirit and the people's life and develop an important role in supporting the earthly and celestial life, offering to man an inner way towards the harmony with the late Reality, with his neighbours and with nature.
