| Abstract | The article is divided in two parts: - Part one deals with the translation and transcription of Chapter 11 - of the Daodejing. It concentrates on the concordance, the etymology and the philosophical meaning of the concept of Wu (Nothing). Part two deals with Heidegger and the clearing (Lichtung) of the Nothing.
